At Aspect Technical Recruitment, we don’t just focus on getting ‘bums on seats’ – we make sure we find the right person for the job by evaluating skills, experience, and how they will fit within the team. Creating a great culture within the office and ensuring a great ‘team fit’ can have a lasting impact on the productivity of a business, and that’s why we make sure we know all that we can about your business before placing candidates.

Here’s why we think that ‘team fit’ and great office culture is vital to a business:
  • Impacts the dynamic of an organisation.
By the most basic definition, a team culture is made up of the values, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours shared by a group of people. Office Culture describes how people work together towards a common goal and how they treat each other. If people clash and don’t work well together, the culture can be negative and can affect the dynamic of an organisation. Think of your office as a sports team – if you’re all working together, communicating, and working towards a common goal, you are more likely to win the game. If you’re clashing on the field, you’ll spend all your time confronting workmates and won’t be able to succeed.

  • Happy employees = productive employees
You’ve heard of ‘happy wife, happy life’, and while we’re not the people to push stereotypes, the same idea applies – if employees are happy in the office, they are more likely to be engaged in their role, and hence more productive. Strong cultures have a happier work life and better productivity.

  • Long term job satisfaction = low staff turnover
If your team culture is great, your employees are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs, and they will be less likely to leave! We know how important it is to have the right person in the role (and how it can be quite the search to find this person!) Consequently, it’s important to make sure they stay – team culture is a contributing factor in staff turnover.

Aspect Technical Recruitment aims to make the recruitment process as simple as possible. By conducting a site visit and learning about the business, culture and role, we are able to select candidates that fit the requirements of the company – both from a work point of view, and a team fit. Once you have employed a new person, we will check in with you to discuss the process, the employee, and whether or not there are any concerns. This is an opportunity to work with us through a mediation process if required. When working with Aspect Technical Recruitment, there is no obligation to accept any candidates from us and the fee is not charged until successful placement is made. Additionally, our Aspect Guarantee offers a replacement guarantee of 12 weeks if the candidate is not suitable or leaves within this time.
