People can often think of applying for jobs as a daunting or scary process, but with Aspect Technical Recruitment, we’re here to make sure it’s a breeze. Below is an overview of our interview process from a candidate’s point of view:

Screening your CV
As with any recruitment company or recruitment process, we have a look through your CV to make sure that you fit the criteria required for the job. In this process we’re looking for relevant experience and qualifications (if required) as well as a general overview of your working life. For tips and tricks for writing your CV, refer to our article here.

Having a chat
Once we’ve had a look through your CV and found that you’re a suitable candidate, we give you a ring. This gives us the chance to find out what you as an applicant are looking for – your salary expectations, the location that you wish to work, and the type of role you are after. If all seems to match up, we give you a breakdown of the role and further information regarding the company itself. From there we set up an initial interview with an Aspect Technical Recruitment recruiter.

Initial Interview
The initial interview with Aspect Technical Recruitment gives us the chance to get to know you better. We will be representing you to the company, so we want all the relevant information that we can get. This is an opportunity for us to meet you, see how you are in interviews (and give you tips if required) and allow you to ask any questions that you may have as a candidate.

Sending your details
If Aspect Technical Recruitment has found you to be a good potential candidate, we send off your CV and details to the company. If they wish to meet with you, we help to arrange an interview directly.

Employment and Beyond
Once you’ve been employed, you’ll still hear from us! At Aspect Technical Recruitment, we pride ourselves in our candidate care programme, and we will keep in touch for at least the first 3 months of your new job. Once you’ve settled in, our Candidate Care representative will give you a ring to find out how you are finding the role, and to ensure that you are happy in the new position. If there are any issues, this gives us the chance to help you and mediate the process.
